Cecilia Fernández González was born in Cangas de Morrazo, Spain, where she spent her childhood and started her education, which she finished in Caracas, Venezuela. She obtained a dagree in design at the Instituto Universitario de Diseño.

Her firstexperience in the art sector was at Radio Caracas Television (RCTV) as a costume designer in soap operas and special events.

She worked for several years teaching Fashion Desing, Life Drawing, Printing Tecniques, Colour Studies, Illustration and more. Later on she returned to television as a freelance adviser and designer in variety of shows

Cecilia is a multifaceted and self-taught artist, who has continued to create and showcase her work until now.

She exhibited for the first time in the 1986, which was the beginning of her career as an artist in Venezuela. She moved back to her hometown in Spain in 2003, where she has been presenting her work at cultural and art centres. Her work is composes oil painting, watercolours, drawings, fashion designs and more recently, digital photomontages.
